Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially released the notification for Common Recruitment Process (CRP-PO/MT-XVI) for recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO) and Management Trainees (MT) in 11 participating Public Sector Banks for the vacancies of 2027-28. This is one of the most prestigious banking recruitment exams in India offering 6715 vacancies – a significant increase of 1507 posts compared to the previous year.

Selection Process
The selection process consists of three stages:
Stage 1 – Preliminary Examination (Qualifying in Nature):
Scores not counted in final merit. Candidates must qualify sectional and overall cutoffs.
Prelims Exam Pattern

• General/Economy/Banking/Digital/Financial Awareness: 50 questions, 60 marks, 35 minutes
